Description

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of CRAs in alignment with company values and quality standards.
  • Generate action plans and provide strategic oversight to optimize CRA services and team performance.
  • Support project resourcing by ensuring appropriate CRA allocation across projects and tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Team Leads, Clinical Trial Managers, and Clinical Operations leadership to meet resource and site requirements.
  • Develop, mentor, coach, and manage CRA staff to support skill growth and career development.
  • Perform accompanied site visits to assess CRA performance and identify development needs.
  • Identify quality risks and issues and recommend corrective action plans to leadership.
  • Ensure staff have the necessary resources, training, materials, and system access to perform their roles.
  • Maintain and improve CRA expectations, procedures, metrics, and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in CRA hiring, onboarding, and interview processes, including CV review and training new staff.

Requirements

  • Graduate, postgraduate, 4-year college degree, or equivalent experience, ideally in a scientific or healthcare discipline.
  • Extensive experience in clinical operations, data management, or a related discipline in a CRO or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of onsite monitoring experience.
  • Experience with electronic data capture systems and both paper and electronic medical records.
  • 3-5 years of direct supervisory experience managing CRAs.
  • Experience creating effective development programs for clinical staff.
  • Experience developing evaluation processes, performing gap analysis, and ensuring staff are trained to company quality standards.
  • Ability and willingness to drive and travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays, approximately 25% of the time.
