Description

  • Support clinical content development across multiple large accounts and books of business, typically 5–7 assigned accounts.
  • Independently lead key Clinical Services initiatives such as onboarding, student recruitment, and innovation.
  • Resolve escalated issues between internal and external stakeholders in a solutions-oriented manner.
  • Serve as the medical lead for brand planning, strategic development, and tactical plans for assigned accounts and new business opportunities.
  • Ensure account-specific Clinical Services standard operating procedures are developed, maintained, and used across clients under purview.
  • Conduct Clinical Services training at both the account and department level as needed.
  • Plan and allocate resources across accounts and workstreams based on business needs.
  • Provide timely feedback, coaching, and development support to direct and indirect reports, including tracking personal development plans.
  • Supervise 6+ Clinical Services team members directly and indirectly, including at least 1 Senior Medical Director or 2+ Medical Directors.
  • Promote and model Precision AQ’s PRECISION Principles across the team and work environment.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in life sciences or a BA/BS in English with experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications company, or healthcare advertising.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in the medical communications, pharmaceutical, and/or healthcare industry.
  • Experience in managed markets promotional content development.
  • Command of American Medical Association (AMA) style.
  • Strong proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong proficiency with scientific search engines including PubMed and Google Scholar.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High analytical ability and strong self-management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific concepts for a variety of managed care audiences.
  • Ability to prioritize deadline-sensitive projects and manage competing client priorities.
  • Highly team-oriented, detail-oriented, and able to influence, develop, and empower others.
  • Conflict resolution and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of managed markets, healthcare, the healthcare delivery system, health reform legislation, or managed care experience (HMO, MCO, PBM, etc.).
  • Advanced degree in life sciences such as PharmD or PhD preferred.
  • Expertise in gathering, evaluating, and summarizing healthcare business and scientific literature and insights data for managed care audiences preferred.
