Description

  • Lead the design and development of clean, scalable, reusable code within the engineering team.
  • Enforce best practices for architecture, code reviews, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with product owners to refine requirements and break down complex problems.
  • Own features end-to-end from technical design and implementation through test automation, release, and ongoing support.
  • Design intuitive and extensible software and APIs that customers can configure and integrate with.
  • Contribute to new product features while modernizing and improving existing components and services.
  • Mentor and support engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
  • Improve reliability, performance, observability, and development workflows to increase team effectiveness.
  • Partner with Product, Design, QA, DevOps, and Customer Success to deliver valuable and operable solutions.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of hands-on software engineering experience building and operating production systems, ideally in a SaaS environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in .NET/C# with experience delivering scalable, maintainable services and APIs.
  • Strong front-end experience with Angular or a similar modern framework, plus the TypeScript/JavaScript ecosystem.
  • Experience with MongoDB, ideally MongoDB Atlas, and/or relational databases, including schema design and performance tuning.
  • Experience owning features or components end-to-end through design, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • 1–2+ years of experience as a technical lead, including work breakdown, tradeoff decisions, code reviews, and pair programming.
  • Practical experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Comfort using observability tools such as Datadog or similar to troubleshoot and improve reliability.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and services and handling asynchronous workflows such as background jobs, event listeners, or scheduled tasks.
  • Comfort using modern AI coding assistants while maintaining code quality, security, and team standards.

  • Compensation expected between $145,000 and $180,000 depending on experience.
