Description

  • Lead the design, configuration, development, and deployment of ServiceNow applications aligned to business requirements and best practices.
  • Develop, customize, and enhance ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, App Engine, and Service Portal.
  • Create and maintain workflows, business rules, UI policies, ACLs, and automation scripts using JavaScript, GlideScript, and Flow Designer.
  • Develop custom widgets and UI components for the Service Portal using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Lead integrations with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, MID Server, Integration Hub, and third-party connectors.
  • Ensure platform security, compliance, RBAC, and data governance standards are followed.
  • Mentor and lead a team of ServiceNow developers by providing technical oversight and delivery guidance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to translate requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues, optimize performance, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
  • Document technical solutions, workflows, and architecture designs for knowledge sharing and client handoff.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
  • Active DHS Public Trust clearance or higher is required.
  • 9+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform development and administration.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow App Engine and custom application development.
  • Advanced experience with ServiceNow Service Portal development, including widget customization and UI scripting.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP, and third-party APIs.
  • Proven ability to lead development teams and deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for ServiceNow deployments.
  • Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, GlideScript, and Flow Designer.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Preferred experience with HR Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions.
  • Preferred deep expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture and solution design.
  • Preferred experience with scripting for UI policies and business rules.
  • Preferred proficiency in designing complex integrations using Integration Hub and external APIs.
