Description

  • Engage and qualify inbound leads by phone, email, and text to assess needs, determine fit, and book meetings.
  • Respond quickly to new leads, maintain consistent follow-up, and manage a high volume of outreach.
  • Own outreach to quote requests, incomplete applications, approved clients, and other warm outbound segments.
  • Convert incomplete applications into active opportunities by scheduling advisor meetings or transferring clients to an advisor.
  • Re-engage stalled or unresponsive leads to maintain a healthy pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate HubSpot records and detailed notes to support seamless handoffs.
  • Partner with Advisor and Operations teams to improve lead nurturing and conversion processes.
  • Meet or exceed monthly engagement and conversion targets.
  • Analyze outreach data, identify trends, and recommend strategy improvements.
  • Represent PolicyMe professionally and provide a client-centric experience.

Requirements

  • Experience or strong interest in sales, business development, or client-facing roles; new and recent graduates are welcome.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, finance, or a STEM field.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt outreach approaches quickly.
  • Comfort with learning new technology, using data and feedback, and adapting processes.
  • Experience engaging inbound or outbound leads is an asset.
  • Experience using a CRM, preferably HubSpot, and managing detailed follow-ups.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and accountable for individual performance.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance outreach volume and quality.
  • Desire to progress from a BDR role into a licensed Insurance Advisor role.
  • Bilingual English and French skills, extracurricular activities, or university athletics are assets.

  • Total target cash compensation of $70,000–$80,000 CAD.
