Description

  • Lead annual, quarterly, and ongoing product portfolio planning across Product and Engineering.
  • Facilitate portfolio reviews, prioritization, and cross-functional planning involving strategic objectives, capacity, dependencies, and resource trade-offs.
  • Establish governance frameworks, planning cadences, operating forums, and standards that promote alignment and accountability.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, execution health, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes.
  • Develop performance reporting, metrics, dashboards, and executive insights to support investment and business decisions.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, UX/UI, Finance, Strategy, and other stakeholders to improve coordination and operational effectiveness.
  • Advance product management maturity through operational frameworks, tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Support leadership planning cycles, business reviews, and strategic initiatives with analysis and recommendations.
  • Identify execution challenges and recommend mitigation strategies and continuous-improvement opportunities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Product Operations leaders and team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • MBA or other advanced degree in Business, Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Product Operations, Portfolio Management, PMO, Product Management, Strategy, or related business operations within a complex technology organization.
  • Experience leading planning, governance, portfolio management, and operational processes across large, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and build alignment across Product, Engineering, Finance, Strategy, and other functions.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and operational leadership skills, including use of metrics, reporting, and business insights for executive decision-making.
  • Experience leading and developing managers and professional teams, including talent development and performance management.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills within complex organizational structures.
  • Experience supporting Product and Engineering organizations in SaaS, healthcare technology, or another technology-driven environment is preferred.
  • Experience improving Product Operations, portfolio management, governance, or planning practices during organizational growth and change is preferred.
