Description

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • Create mockups that communicate functionality and proposed designs.
  • Refine user personas and map user journeys.
  • Champion user experience best practices across the product.
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams on design solutions.
  • Build relationships with users, customer success, and other internal stakeholders to understand needs.
  • Improve the usability of the platform in a fast-moving, complex environment.

Requirements

  • College or university degree in UX Design, Information Technology, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, DoveTail, Adobe, and ProtoPie.
  • Expert-level professional UX design experience.
  • Strong visual design skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience gathering qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Knowledge of established and emerging design practices.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS is helpful for discussing specifications with engineers.
  • Experience with usability testing and analytics platforms.
  • Passion for helping others and building relationships across the organization.
  • Creative and analytical mindset.
