Description

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • Create mockups and prototypes that clearly communicate functionality and interaction design.
  • Refine user personas and map user journeys to improve the overall experience.
  • Champion user experience best practices across the product team.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to iterate on strategic execution and product direction.
  • Work closely with Engineers and QA to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
  • Build relationships with users, customer success, and other internal teams to better understand needs.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data to guide UX improvements and design decisions.

Requirements

  • Must have a portfolio attached to be considered for the role.
  • Proven work experience with Data Governance, Risk and Compliance, or Regulatory teams.
  • Strong visual design skills and flawless attention to detail.
  • Experience with AI prototyping tools.
  • Experience gathering and using qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Expertise in established and emerging design practices.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS is helpful for discussing specifications with engineers.
  • Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe, and ProtoPie.
  • Experience with usability testing and analytics platforms.
  • Creative and analytical mindset with strong interpersonal and empathetic skills.

Benefits

  • US base salary range of $131,000 to $141,000 per year.
  • 10% performance-based bonus.
  • Full-time benefits package.
  • Remote role with required travel to the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City office for onboarding, team events, and semi-annual or annual meetings.
