Description

  • Create user-centered content that simplifies complex language and processes for customers.
  • Write and maintain in-app communications for product releases, regulatory updates, and product sunsetting.
  • Collaborate with Product Leaders and Engineers to produce UI content for sustaining product updates.
  • Draft dialog boxes, microcopy, ghost text, labels, button copy, and toast/snackbar messages.
  • Manage the content release calendar and coordinate content publication timelines.
  • Write technical help files and oversee the Help Center, Resource Hub, and help file build process, including QA, deployment, and release.
  • Apply content architecture principles to structure content for reuse across platforms, personas, and markets.
  • Work in agile environments and collaborate with cross-functional project teams.
  • Use AI tools to support drafting, editing, brainstorming, and efficiency while maintaining accuracy and brand voice.
  • Conduct basic data analysis and summarize findings to inform content decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/background in English, UX writing, technical communications, or journalism.
  • Strong XML and HTML experience for creating and formatting UI and help content.
  • Experience writing content in product-focused or technical environments.
  • Ability to structure language for XML and JSON formats.
  • Experience with content management systems (CCMS) and agile development workflows.
  • Proficiency using AI tools for content drafting and editing.
  • Experience writing instructional, technical, and UX content tailored to audience needs.
  • Background working in agile development with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Engineers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Portfolio showcasing instructional content and UI microcopy samples.
  • Domain knowledge in PointClickCare, EHR, or healthcare software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Paligo, Pendo, Jira, Aha!, Figma, Miro, or Smartsheet is a plus.
  • Experience writing conversational microcopy and dialogue following established patterns and voice guidelines.

  • Hourly pay rate of $43.10 to $47.86 USD.
