Description

  • Lead end-to-end trade lifecycle management across global markets for equities, options, FX, CFDs, swaps, fixed income, repos, and futures.
  • Reconcile daily positions and cash across counterparties, prime brokers, and custodians, and resolve trade breaks and settlement exceptions.
  • Partner with traders, portfolio managers, clearing brokers, and internal teams to resolve trade lifecycle issues.
  • Manage mandatory and voluntary corporate actions, including impact assessment and election or adjustment processing.
  • Build and implement automation and workflow improvements by identifying inefficiencies and partnering with technology teams.
  • Execute and monitor FX transactions to manage foreign currency exposure affecting PnL and settlement flows.
  • Maintain security master and reference data during Asian and European trading hours.
  • Produce daily exception reports, reconciliations, and operational metrics for internal stakeholders and external counterparties.
  • Drive cross-functional projects to improve settlement efficiency, confirmation workflows, and operational risk monitoring.
  • Create and maintain process documentation and support continuous team improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 2-6 years of experience in middle office operations, trade support, or a closely related function within a financial institution.
  • Experience handling trade confirmation, settlement, reconciliation, and trade exception resolution across multiple asset classes.
  • Hands-on experience processing corporate actions, including mandatory and voluntary event impacts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros or scripting.
  • Experience using SQL or equivalent tools to analyze data and produce operational reports.
  • Working knowledge of market data terminals such as Bloomberg and familiarity with trade confirmation and settlement workflows.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to reconcile positions and resolve discrepancies with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across teams and with external counterparties.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task accurately in a fast-paced environment while working across Asian and European trading hours.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team.
