Description

Architect and evolve the Android automation framework for a growing portfolio of security products.
Design testing strategies for VPN-specific scenarios, including network-dependent flows and unstable or switching connections.
Work closely with developers and other QAs to troubleshoot issues and provide detailed bug reports.
Uphold QA best practices and contribute to the overall QA strategy.
Continuously evaluate new testing tools and methodologies to improve the QA process.
Build and scale automation solutions for mobile security products.
Maintain pipelines and automation processes used for test execution and results processing.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience automating UI tests for Android apps written in Kotlin.
Strong hands-on experience with Espresso and Kakao-Cup.
Experience testing screens built with Jetpack Compose and classic XML.
Experience with Robolectric and Mockito for test infrastructure and mocking dependencies.
Experience building and maintaining pipelines in CircleCI.
Experience using Bash/sh scripting for automation and result processing.
Experience sharding and parallelizing tests with Flank.
Experience configuring device matrices in Firebase Test Lab or similar emulators.
Understanding of the challenges of testing VPN apps, including network-dependent flows and connection-state flakiness.
Upper-intermediate level of spoken and written English.
Experience maintaining UI test suites across multiple apps in mono- and multi-repo setups is preferred.
Comfort with ADB, log analysis, and the Android build process via Gradle (Kotlin DSL) is preferred.
Experience testing A/B frameworks, feature-flagged flows, and variant-dependent UI is preferred.
Familiarity with testing Google Play Billing integrations, including subscriptions, purchase flows, and edge cases is preferred.
