Description

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Vice President, Head of Operations and advise senior leadership on key business decisions.
  • Build and lead a small Strategy & Planning team and define its mandate, operating model, and priorities.
  • Develop an integrated view of business performance, organizational health, strategic priorities, and enterprise risks.
  • Translate complex business issues into structured analysis, recommendations, and executive decision materials.
  • Own and improve the executive operating rhythm, including business reviews, KPI reporting, strategic planning, and risk management.
  • Lead recurring planning and leadership forums to drive accountability, action, and follow-through.
  • Partner with Finance and other leaders to define KPIs, performance measures, and actionable insights.
  • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives across studios and functions, including setting objectives, milestones, and decision rights.
  • Build alignment across Production, Finance, Technology, HR, Development Strategy, Portfolio Management, and studio leadership.
  • Coach and develop team members while personally handling the most sensitive and high-impact work.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in business strategy, business operations, strategic planning, management consulting, corporate development, portfolio strategy, or a related field.
  • Experience leading and developing a high-performing strategy, operations, consulting, or planning team.
  • Experience advising C-suite or equivalent senior executives on complex enterprise-level decisions.
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Strong business judgment with understanding of strategy, operations, financial performance, organizational design, and execution.
  • Experience designing or improving executive operating rhythms, planning processes, or performance management systems.
  • Success leading complex work across a highly matrixed organization.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and executive presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation capabilities.
  • Experience in gaming, technology, entertainment, media, or another product development environment is preferred.

  • Base pay range of $252,000 to $378,000 USD in Seattle, with pay varying by geographic location and hybrid policy.
