Description

  • Manage and support an assigned portfolio of accounts with a focus on customer retention.
  • Provide daily support and coordination between customers, Managed Services Engineers, and Consultants.
  • Oversee service delivery to ensure IT service levels are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and increase value for clients.
  • Serve as the primary escalation and contact point for customer support requests and technical issues.
  • Coordinate technical resources internally with Managing Architects, Technical resources, and Account Executives.
  • Drive resolution of customer technical issues and support assignment and allocation of managed services resources.
  • Manage annual renewals by providing proof of value, identifying add-on sales opportunities, and surfacing additional managed services offerings.
  • Produce monthly internal and customer reports to support accurate invoicing for managed services customers.
  • Manage hourly ad hoc contract work as project manager and oversee Microsoft FastTrack engagements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT customer account management, IT managed services, or IT project management, preferably in a Managed Services organization.
  • Experience working effectively on large remotely based teams and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate information, think on your feet, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong customer expectation management skills and experience delivering trusted advisor-level service.
  • Experience with CRM and helpdesk systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools and systems is a plus.
  • Ability to identify when and how to escalate issues effectively.
  • Ability to read and understand complex business requirements.
  • Awareness of current development trends and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Bachelor’s degree and PMP certification preferred.
  • US citizenship is required and candidates must be clearable for a federal agency background investigation of up to 10 years.

Benefits

  • Remote work opportunity in the Eastern US / East Region.
  • Full-time position.
  • Salary range of $110,000 to $190,000.
  • Benefits are available through the Planet Technologies Benefit Guide 2025-2026.
