Description

  • Participate in the design and development of data solutions for challenging client projects.
  • Develop projects from scratch with minimal supervision while collaborating closely with the team.
  • Promote best practices, clean code, and reusable code across data projects.
  • Develop ETL processes using Spark with Python or Scala.
  • Work on cloud-based projects using Azure or AWS.
  • Build scalable data pipelines using multiple technologies.
  • Implement data transformation and modeling workflows with DBT.
  • Contribute to full ownership of projects within agile, multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in data engineering.
  • Strong experience with Python or Scala and Spark for processing large datasets.
  • Solid experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Experience working with Snowflake.
  • Hands-on experience building data pipelines, including CI/CD.
  • Experience with testing practices such as unit and integration testing.
  • Experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling, including DBT Core or Cloud.
  • Bonus points for experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Fluent English is a plus.
  • A strong team player mindset.
