Description

  • Gather and analyze data migration requirements with clients and business stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for SAP data migration.
  • Lead migration strategy for complex programs and modules.
  • Define migration standards, tools, and reusable assets.
  • Review and approve data mappings, transformations, and validation results.
  • Develop SAP conversion solutions using LSMW, SAP Data Services, IDOC, BAPI, SQL, LTMC, and LTMOM.
  • Participate in end-to-end mock conversions and go-lives.
  • Coordinate with developers, project managers, architects, and functional teams across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP EWM, and related modules.
  • Resolve migration issues, support integration and interface development, and serve as an escalation point.
  • Create documentation and training materials, mentor junior team members, and ensure governance, audit, quality, and security compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, computer science, IT, STEM, or a related field plus 5–7 years of progressive data migration experience, or 7–10 years of experience without a degree.
  • SAP Data Services certification.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP data migration tools and techniques, including LSMW, SAP Data Services, IDOC, BAPI, SQL, LTMC, and LTMOM.
  • Ability to independently design, develop, test, debug, and implement migration solutions.
  • Experience with enterprise systems, preferably SAP.
  • Strong ERP and data architecture knowledge.
  • Strong client consulting, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Active government clearance or ability to obtain clearance before starting; U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to manage detailed processes, troubleshoot complex issues, and work effectively with technical and functional teams.
