Description

  • Identify opportunities for Plaid solutions to create value for prospective high-growth lenders and existing lending customers.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of high-potential prospects to support quota attainment.
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting through close.
  • Coordinate support from sales engineers, product specialists, and other internal partners during the sales process.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives across Plaid to support a consultative sales motion.
  • Manage pipeline and forecast deal value and win probability accurately.
  • Build a deep understanding of Plaid’s credit solutions and apply it to each customer’s objectives.
  • Work with segment Account Executives across Plaid to support broader sales goals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a quota-carrying direct sales role with a strong track record of attainment.
  • Excellent prospecting, qualifying, and negotiating skills.
  • Experience using a consultative, customer-centric sales approach.
  • Working knowledge of APIs and interest in understanding how Plaid works under the hood.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Professional yet relaxed communication style that feels authentic rather than overly sales-driven.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong ability to manage a sales pipeline and forecast accurately.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $117,762 to $165,000 per year, depending on location and other factors.
