Description

Lead Solar PV and energy storage sourcing activities and supplier management to improve cost, quality, delivery, and reliability.
Develop category and subcategory segmentation and build category strategies that support organizational goals.
Improve total cost of ownership, supply continuity, domestic content feasibility, and risk mitigation.
Manage the Preferred Supplier List, rationalize non-preferred suppliers, and award business through long-term agreements.
Develop, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts, pricing, renewals, and the contract repository.
Lead quarterly business reviews and other strategic meetings with key suppliers.
Scout, assess, and onboard new suppliers while managing ongoing supplier relationships and escalated disputes.
Drive continuous improvement across the supply chain, including lead times, cycle time, transparency, and key procurement metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Tech Ops, Project Management, Delivery, and Procurement.
Create presentations and analysis for strategic meetings, category planning, and risk mitigation proposals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3+ years of procurement experience, preferably in engineering, procurement, and construction environments.
Experience with negotiations, including RFI, RFP, RFQ, and contract development.
Experience with benchmarking, market analysis, competitive intelligence, and procurement project management.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate across internal and external teams.
Passion for learning through self-study and structured settings.
Preferred: experience in category or commodity management of hardware or direct materials.
Preferred: experience in C&I solar and battery storage, and vendor management including purchase order issuance, execution, and administration.

Benefits

Base salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 per year.
Target annual bonus of 30% of salary, prorated in the first year.
