Description

  • Define, design, and launch AI/ML-powered personalization experiences tailored to users’ interests.
  • Partner with Engineering, Data Science, and Design to deliver seamless product experiences.
  • Set product vision and influence personalization strategy across the team and broader organization.
  • Write product requirements, develop hypotheses, and establish success metrics for key initiatives.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve personalization across Pinterest’s curation portfolio.
  • Work across high-traffic surfaces including Home, Search, and Related Pins.
  • Navigate ambiguous product challenges and drive alignment across multiple teams.
  • Build trusted partnerships with internal stakeholders across Advanced Technology, Growth, Trust & Safety, Monetization, and other groups.
  • Guide initiatives from ideation through successful launch.
  • Present product direction and complex concepts to executives and cross-functional audiences.

Requirements

  • Experience building and launching personalized AI/ML products, ideally at scale, for consumer products.
  • E-commerce experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML product development and the ability to partner credibly with engineers and data scientists.
  • Ability to present effectively to executives and cross-functional audiences.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical and product concepts for diverse stakeholders.
  • Deep empathy for user needs and the ability to turn data and insights into product opportunities.
  • Experience building trusted cross-functional relationships and aligning partners to shared goals.
  • Ownership mindset with experience defining success metrics and driving projects from ideation to launch.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work remotely, with in-office collaboration 1-2 times per quarter anywhere in the country.

  • Base salary range of $139,764 to $287,749 USD for US-based applicants.
