Description

  • Build Pinner-facing frontend features in iOS that support Pinterest’s product experience.
  • Contribute to and lead the product development process from ideation through implementation and release.
  • Rapidly prototype ideas, run A/B tests, and develop scalable solutions for millions of users.
  • Partner with design, product, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end functionality.
  • Suggest new product ideas and features from the perspective of a Pinner.
  • Use automated testing to deliver high-quality features and own the components and features you develop.
  • Collaborate with world-class peers on high-impact projects and continue growing as an engineer.
  • Leverage AI to draft, prototype, summarize information, automate repeatable tasks, and explore alternative approaches.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of iOS development and best practices in Objective-C and/or Swift.
  • 3+ years of industry iOS application development experience building consumer-facing or business-facing products.
  • Experience writing reliable and maintainable code used by other engineers.
  • Ability to stay current with new technologies and determine what should be incorporated.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in day-to-day workflow.
  • Strong ability to critically evaluate and verify AI-assisted work through testing, source-checking, data validation, or peer review.
  • High integrity and ownership, including protecting sensitive data and remaining accountable for final decisions and deliverables.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with tools and concepts such as Xcode, app states, and memory management.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $123,696 to $254,667 USD for US-based applicants.
  • Position is also eligible for equity.
  • Remote work model with PinFlex.
  • Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.
