Description

Own the end-to-end Connections strategy and roadmap and translate it into measurable product impact.
Shape connection experiences so they feel safe, personal, low-pressure, and grounded in shared interests.
Partner with Core product teams to create cohesive cross-surface connection experiences across the product.
Align senior leaders and cross-functional partners around strategy, success measures, and execution plans.
Lead, develop, and inspire a team of Product Managers across systems and consumer-facing social features.
Partner with Policy, Trust & Safety, and Wellbeing to ensure connection experiences uphold Pinterest’s values.
Define and track the health and impact of connection experiences using quantitative and qualitative insights.
Represent the Connections area as a senior product leader and primary point of contact across Pinterest.

Requirements

Demonstrated track record of driving engagement and growth through high-impact product work.
Experience leading and developing Product Manager teams, including managers at varying levels of seniority.
Experience setting multi-year vision and roadmaps in ambiguous product spaces.
Strength in horizontal leadership and alignment across multiple product surfaces and infrastructure teams.
Strong technical and analytical depth with familiarity with recommendations, social graphs, messaging, and large-scale experimentation.
Ability to dive into data independently and use insights to reshape the roadmap.
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with the ability to generate buy-in from executives and cross-functional partners.
User-centric, empathetic approach to building products in emotionally sensitive spaces.
Experience with safety, integrity, or wellbeing in social products is a plus.
Experience building or evolving cross-platform social primitives such as follows, friends, groups, messaging, or recommendations/ML is a plus.
Background in or passion for commerce and creator ecosystems is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
This role requires in-office collaboration 1-2 times per quarter and can be situated anywhere in the country.

Benefits

Base salary range of $164,695 to $339,078 USD for US-based applicants.
Eligible for equity.
Flexible PinFlex working model with mostly remote work and occasional in-office collaboration.
Country-wide location flexibility within the US, subject to the in-office collaboration requirement.
