Description

  • Develop best practices for instrumentation and experimentation and communicate them to product engineering teams.
  • Apply scientific rigor and statistical methods to product creation, development, and improvement.
  • Build and prototype analysis pipelines iteratively to deliver insights at scale.
  • Develop deep understanding of data structures and metrics and advocate for product-related data changes when needed.
  • Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, designers, researchers, and analytics partners to solve product and business problems.
  • Communicate key insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to turn insights into actions that improve products.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience analyzing data in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to apply scientific methods to solve real-world problems on web-scale data.
  • Experience solving analytical problems using Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, Forecasting, Econometrics, or related fields.
  • Experience using machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
  • Ability to manipulate large, high-dimensional, and complex data sets.
  • Fluency in SQL or other database languages and a scripting language such as Python or R.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain findings to both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A scientifically rigorous approach with strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality, results-oriented output.
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $101,382 to $209,296 USD for US-based applicants.
  • Eligible for equity.
