Description

  • Collaborate with business units and technical stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee end-to-end delivery of product initiatives to meet scope, schedule, and budget goals.
  • Build relationships with internal teams, external partners, and leadership to align priorities and manage expectations.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, including clear user story definitions and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to product stability, security, and delivery timelines.
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure product adoption, reliability, and business impact.
  • Drive product enhancements based on user feedback, analytics, and emerging technology trends.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure the platform meets security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage a small team of product managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product management or IT project management; a degree may be substituted for 8 years of experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, and API management tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven track record delivering complex IT projects or products in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with backlog management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, security, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and leading teams.
  • Previous experience implementing complex API solutions for Federal health clients.
  • Previous experience delivering high-availability systems.
  • Familiarity with security, authentication, and authorization standards such as OAuth and JWT is a plus.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and client management skills.
  • Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, self-motivation, organization, and adaptability skills.
