Description

  • Serve as the ETL Developer supporting VA sustainment services, cloud migration, and advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Provide overall technical execution for ETL developers matrixed into Scrum teams.
  • Design ETL processes that integrate data from multiple sources into applications and data warehouses.
  • Coordinate across workstreams to ensure Scrum teams have the resources they need.
  • Peer review code written by other ETL developers.
  • Train team members on best practices and coding guidelines.
  • Perform data integrity checks throughout the ETL process, including quality control, unit testing, functional testing, and system testing.
  • Run daily SQL validation scripts to verify overnight ETL job status and data integrity.
  • Track performance, efficiency, and traceability of automated processes against service levels and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and validate ETL workflows and store ETL packages in GitHub.
  • Monitor availability, server load, disc I/O rates, and other deviations from target thresholds.
  • Ensure solutions are properly configured, available, and accessible for users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, PowerApps, and Power BI.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SSIS ETL tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client management, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to different customer groups and expectations.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred experience with Tableau, OBIEE, ETL, Data Bricks, and Azure Cloud.
