Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines across the software development lifecycle.
  • Integrate and automate security tools, controls, and testing within DevOps pipelines.
  • Support secure containerized and cloud-native development and deployment environments.
  • Conduct and support security assessments, vulnerability management, remediation, and incident response.
  • Manage source code repositories, Git, version control, and automated build and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with developers, security engineers, cloud architects, and operations teams to resolve security risks.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for DevSecOps processes, pipeline configurations, and security integrations.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of DevSecOps experience, including 5 years of cybersecurity and cloud security experience at a large government agency comparable to GSA, IRS, DoD, or VA.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, information assurance, information security, information resource management, or a related field.
  • IAT III, IAM III, or IASAE III certification; certification may substitute for a relevant bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required VA background investigation, suitability determination, and system access.
  • Expertise with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-native environments.
  • Experience integrating security tools into DevOps pipelines and automating security processes.
  • VA or federal DevSecOps experience preferred.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code or security-as-code experience preferred.
  • Experience with automated security testing and cloud-native security tooling preferred.

  • Salary range of $95,000–$132,000.
