Description

  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline across India.
  • Prospect and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to exceed revenue targets.
  • Build relationships with C-level executives and other key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, product, and marketing teams to craft solutions.
  • Represent TiDB at industry events, conferences, and user groups.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to influence the product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, including at least 5 years selling databases, data infrastructure, or related enterprise software.
  • Proven hunter mentality with the ability to identify and win new business.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Strong understanding of database technologies, cloud infrastructure, and data management challenges is highly preferred.
  • Experience selling to technical buyers such as CIOs, CTOs, VP Engineering, and Enterprise Architects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with open-source software sales models.
  • Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or distributed database systems is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience at a database, cloud, or infrastructure company is preferred.
  • Experience working in a high-growth technology company is preferred.
