Description

  • Learn agriculture workflows and customer business needs to craft an elegant, high-performance user experience.
  • Advocate for best practices in development processes and deployment, including responsible use of AI-assisted tools and workflows.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate coding, research, debugging, and documentation across the stack.
  • Help build and maintain a collaborative, innovative, and continuously improving engineering culture.
  • Work across the full stack, including both backend and frontend development.
  • Write efficient, scalable, and easily testable APIs.
  • Build reusable frontend components.
  • Mentor other engineers.
  • Contribute to code quality by performing code reviews and writing tests.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • 4+ years of experience building web-based software.
  • Experience with high-level languages such as Go, Kotlin, C#, Python, or Java.
  • Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and React.
  • Experience with containerized applications such as Docker is a plus.
  • Experience setting up, architecting, and deploying cloud services.
  • Experience with AI-assisted workflows.
  • Actively uses AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude as part of daily development.
  • Comfortable running agentic coding workflows where AI tools handle multi-step tasks autonomously.
  • Ability to critically evaluate, test, and fully own AI-generated code, including knowing its limitations and when not to trust it.
  • Innovative, big-picture thinker who is also pragmatic about technical details.
  • Ability to simplify and break down complex problems into iterative solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including non-technical colleagues.
