Description

  • Own end-to-end architecture, solution design, and delivery of agentic AI solutions for enterprise clients.
  • Design and build reusable agentic accelerators, reference architectures, templates, and delivery frameworks.
  • Translate ambiguous business problems into actionable solutions aligned with phData’s Intelligence Platform and standards.
  • Architect reliable, scalable, secure, observable, and evaluable production agent systems with appropriate guardrails.
  • Partner with engineers, data scientists, platform teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality engagements on time and within scope.
  • Establish scalable patterns, tooling, and ways of working for the India Agentic Delivery Center.
  • Ensure delivery quality through code reviews, documentation, testing, governance, and security compliance.
  • Advise senior client stakeholders, shape technical roadmaps, and identify opportunities to expand or standardize engagements.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to internal AI engineering initiatives, training, and intellectual property development.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as an AI, machine learning, software, or data engineer building and deploying production AI/ML solutions, including recent LLM or agentic application experience.
  • Hands-on knowledge of LLMs, agentic architectures, RAG, prompt design, context engineering, and tool or function calling.
  • Experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex, multi-agent patterns, memory, planning, and protocols such as MCP.
  • Experience designing evaluation, guardrail, and observability strategies for LLM and agent systems.
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python and experience developing APIs.
  • Expertise with cloud-native AI/ML platforms such as AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure AI/ML, or Snowflake Cortex, including production deployment.
  • Full software development lifecycle experience, including design, documentation, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, including writing, debugging, and optimizing complex distributed queries.
  • Experience delivering client projects in consulting or professional services, preferably in fixed-bid engagements.
  • Strong English communication, client presentation, problem-solving, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience building reusable accelerators or modular products for multiple clients; industry experience in life sciences, retail, financial services, or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, preferred.
  • Experience with global or remote teams, AI-assisted development tools, open-source contributions, technical communities, speaking, or writing is a plus.
