Description

  • Build platforms and frameworks that enable consistent, verifiable, and automated management of applications and infrastructure across non-production and production environments.
  • Design and develop the cloud platform technical architecture and supporting frameworks.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of CI/CD pipeline infrastructure and tools.
  • Implement application security best practices throughout the agile SDLC.
  • Foster and advocate for a DevOps culture to improve testing, delivery, and deployment of software artifacts.
  • Establish technical design principles and drive adoption across product portfolios.
  • Work with Dev and DevOps teams to ensure product quality standards are met.
  • Mentor engineers and DevOps developers on cloud technology and practices.
  • Drive automation for delivery, release management, and service management of production services.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in SaaS software cloud operations and development.
  • 12+ years of overall industry experience.
  • Deep experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP core services, including compute, networking, databases, security, management, and observability.
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for system software, operating systems, and libraries.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, or Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker container technology.
  • Hands-on experience as a software developer and technical leader.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cloud-based scalable web application architectures and technologies; AWS and GCP preferred.
  • Experience driving secure SDLC practices with DevSecOps metrics.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Puppet, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure ARM templates; Serverless Framework is a plus.
  • BS/MS/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or a related field preferred.
