Description

  • Own the end-to-end release process, including the release calendar, release notes, stakeholder communications, and enforcement.
  • Ensure internal readiness across Customer Success, Support, and Sales before releases ship.
  • Define and maintain the standard for what it means to be ready to release, and build scalable processes from the ground up.
  • Coordinate and run monthly New & Next meetings to review current and upcoming releases.
  • Manage bi-weekly product releases, including release lock meetings and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate release note production across product managers and ensure consistent quality.
  • Serve as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, Support, and Marketing during each release cycle.
  • Own cross-functional working rhythms such as release meetings, RACI maintenance, and process documentation.
  • Manage GTM logistics for large releases, including pre-launch cross-functional working groups and release-tier-specific materials.
  • Establish and maintain processes, templates, and tools that help the product team operate consistently and effectively.
  • Own Jira hygiene, sprint health, reporting cadence, and quarterly planning rhythms.
  • Maintain roadmap boards, identify outdated or inconsistent tickets, escalate risks and missed deadlines, and run quarterly roadmap planning sessions.
  • Build and maintain reporting infrastructure and product health dashboards to track product quality, delivery, and outcomes.
  • Define and track key product health metrics in partnership with Engineering and Analytics.
  • Review Mixpanel events, standardize naming conventions, and improve querying consistency.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in product operations, program management, or a senior product role at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Experience building or significantly improving a release process in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong ability to hold people accountable across teams while maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and similar B2B SaaS tools.
  • Genuine interest in improving systems and team effectiveness rather than owning a product roadmap.
  • Experience standing up a Product Ops function from scratch is a strong differentiator.
  • Experience operating at or alongside Director level with cross-company scope is a strong differentiator.
  • Familiarity with higher education, edtech, or similarly mission-driven SaaS environments is a strong differentiator.
  • Comfort with internal-to-external handoffs and cross-functional GTM coordination.
  • Ability to review Mixpanel events and support data standardization and dashboarding.
