Description

  • Design and implement core backend services and data pipelines.
  • Perform data-driven research using big data and data science tools.
  • Design and develop algorithms and microservice architecture.
  • Write machine learning and automation code for matching and platform capabilities.
  • Build scalable systems that power the AI engine behind the product.
  • Document design decisions and operational knowledge for deployment and operations.
  • Provide test coverage through unit and integration testing with attention to performance and cost efficiency.
  • Set up and maintain alerting, dashboards, and runbooks for production services.
  • Collaborate with engineers across teams to build new features and products.
  • Follow and promote software design and development best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience working on backend systems in an enterprise environment.
  • 3+ years of experience with data analysis, data science tasks, and/or machine learning.
  • 2+ years of programming experience in Python 2.x/3.x, Scala, or Java.
  • Experience with AI development tools, especially agentic AI, is a plus.
  • Experience developing systems based on LLMs is a plus.
  • Understanding of SOA, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with enterprise-grade scalable web app stacks, including messaging brokers, in-memory storage, NoSQL, and key-value databases.
  • Strong knowledge of TDD, unit testing, and automated testing paradigms.
  • Experience with SQL and RDBMS solutions.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing tools such as Spark.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch is a plus.
  • Experience with containerized applications, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • DevOps mindset; AWS experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
