Description

  • Plan, design, and manage capacity-building program activities with staff and partners.
  • Develop and oversee learning curricula, webinars, asynchronous courses, and related resources in multiple formats.
  • Support the creation of curricular tools, new technology, and program resources.
  • Coordinate recruitment and selection of program participants with global partners.
  • Oversee monitoring, evaluation, impact tracking, and feedback data collection.
  • Monitor program budgets and reporting in collaboration with team members.
  • Build and maintain partnerships that support program delivery across Europe.
  • Coordinate project and budget management for EU Horizon-funded initiatives.
  • Identify EU-based funding opportunities and help develop joint funding proposals.
  • Manage People Powered’s role in EU-funded consortia and contribute to grant and budget reporting.
  • Create multimedia content such as blog posts, graphics, and videos to promote program activities.
  • Participate in organization-wide meetings, retreats, and collaborative planning activities.

Requirements

  • Must be legally residing in the EU and authorized to work in the EU at the time of employment; no visa sponsorship is available.
  • Permanent residence in the EU is required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant project management experience in capacity-building or resource development across multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating EU Horizon projects and managing EU funding in line with grant requirements.
  • Experience working with EU fundraising, consortia, and partnerships.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate large volumes of work.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English, with the ability to translate complex information into clear and accessible language.
  • Strong judgment, decision-making ability, discretion, and creativity.
  • Excellent teamwork and cross-cultural collaboration skills, with sensitivity to cultural differences and power dynamics.
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Google Workspace; experience with Asana, Zoom, and learning management systems is preferred.
  • Interest or experience in participatory democracy is required, with a deep commitment to participatory democracy, community empowerment, and equity.
  • Additional preferred qualifications include living and working in more than one country, proficiency in French, Spanish, or Portuguese, experience with participatory democracy or government projects, experience developing online learning or technical tools, experience with AI project development, and experience supporting funding applications such as CERV or Horizon.

Benefits

  • Annual salary of €60,000–€70,000 EUR, adjusted for local cost of living.
