Description

  • Lead and mentor project teams to build a collaborative, high-performing environment.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government clients, including the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
  • Oversee contract execution and delivery to ensure Performance Work Statement (PWS) deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
  • Facilitate progress reviews and technical interchange meetings with government stakeholders and internal leadership.
  • Maintain project documentation, including status reports, stakeholder communications, and lessons learned.
  • Monitor quality standards and ensure deliverables meet client requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, especially in secure government environments using emerging technologies.
  • Track project costs, manage budget and profitability, and prepare required financial reports for government submission.
  • Collaborate with business development and technical teams to support proposal development and new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in IT program management delivering complex technical solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in an IT or related field.
  • Strong technical acumen.
  • Experience managing projects involving Cloud Landing Zones (AWS, Azure, or GCP), cloud-native software development, and/or AI/ML implementations.
  • Experience working with US public sector customers, including Department of Defense, federal civilian agencies, and state and local governments.
  • Experience managing project scope, schedule, and budget for FFP and T&M contracts.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certifications are preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficiency with project management software.
  • Ability to manage remote or geographically distributed teams.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance may be required.
