Description

  • Own end-to-end trading strategy, margin targets, and commercial KPIs for the sports team.
  • Set up, review, and update market limits, tournament coverage, and offers as seasons change.
  • Create, publish, trade, and settle specials using a data-driven approach.
  • Monitor market liabilities and manage customer risk profiles across digital channels.
  • Work with analytics teams to analyze market trends and customer betting patterns to improve GGR and NGR.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams on promotions, product roadmap, and tier-1 event strategy.
  • Drive continuous improvement in product quality, depth, and coverage, and identify more efficient ways of working.
  • Define and enforce trading philosophies and strategies across the team, including pricing approach and automation levels.
  • Prepare and circulate reports on business performance and upcoming activities for stakeholders.
  • Coach the team through performance evaluation, regular reporting, and ad hoc deep dives while ensuring strategies are understood and executed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a trading environment.
  • Live trading experience is a strong asset.
  • Strong sports betting knowledge and a genuine interest in betting and odds.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Comfort working PST hours.
  • Ability to multitask, make decisions quickly, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and precision in delivery.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong initiative and outstanding work ethic.
  • Experience in sportsbook trading, risk management, or sports pricing is preferred.
