Description

  • Perform daily maintenance tasks on wind turbine generators and related equipment, including cleaning, organizing, minor service, and repairs.
  • Conduct equipment maintenance such as fueling and lubrication.
  • Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally in accordance with company and insurance requirements.
  • Complete and maintain company and client documentation using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures.
  • Clean and organize tools, equipment, and work areas, including handling spills and debris.
  • Perform additional daily work requirements as directed by a supervisor with general supervision.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited trade school or relevant mechanical or electrical experience.
  • Willingness and ability to work in confined spaces, including inside a wind turbine nacelle.
  • Knowledge of various hand and power tools.
  • Ability to meet customer and company standards and follow project schedules.
  • Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet.
  • Ability to maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance.
  • Ability to lift and move more than 50 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to work indoors or outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
  • Compliance with OSHA and DOT standards.
  • 100% travel is required for this position.
