Description

Participate in planning and implementing each assigned community’s marketing plan.
Assist with leasing activities to maximize occupancy and complete the Peak Leasing Experience with leasing staff.
Maintain excellent resident customer service by adhering to company service standards and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
Train, interview, recruit, schedule, supervise, and conduct performance appraisals for part-time leasing consultants and property staff; make hiring recommendations to Property/Regional Managers.
Serve as primary on-site manager in the absence of the Property Manager or Assistant Manager and fill in for open positions as needed.
Participate in property inspections (quarterly, move-in, move-out) and support property turnover assignments, including multi-week assignments.
Assist in supervising maintenance staff, schedule repairs with outside contractors when necessary, and monitor maintenance service responses to ensure resident satisfaction.
Coordinate preparation and processing of leases and related paperwork for approval by Property or Regional Manager and ensure accurate record retention and compliance.
Perform administrative tasks and assist in preparation of weekly and monthly reports; support efforts to meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
Travel extensively (weekly assignments) to troubleshoot properties, provide hands-on support, and implement company policies and procedures on-site.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Property Manager.
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Position requires up to 90% travel, including air travel; some assignments may be 2–4 weeks for student property turnover.
Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance required; must furnish a reliable vehicle and meet car rental requirements.
Must be at least 25 years of age to meet certain car rental requirements.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, as needed to fulfill assignments.
Entrata experience preferred.
Marketing and leasing skills preferred.
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Base residency and weekly travel cost will be considered during the interview process.
