Description

  • Design, build, and maintain production-grade web applications.
  • Develop secure backend services and REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
  • Build intuitive, responsive frontend interfaces for complex, workflow-driven user experiences.
  • Own end-to-end application architecture, including data models and service boundaries.
  • Make technical decisions that improve scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Implement third-party integrations, background processing workflows, and business logic for complex applications.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code to accelerate implementation, debugging, testing, and documentation.
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to improve quality and reliability.
  • Ensure secure handling of sensitive user data through robust validation, authentication, authorization, and error handling.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders across time zones, including sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional full stack software engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, and REST API development.
  • Experience designing and shipping production applications.
  • Strong frontend development skills with modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience building workflow-driven or form-heavy applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Cursor, Claude Code, or other AI-assisted development tools.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, Git, and API integrations.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Preferred experience in FinTech, tax software, compliance platforms, or financial systems.
  • Preferred experience building highly secure applications and designing scalable system architecture.
