Description

  • Design, build, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Implement user interfaces from Figma or Sketch designs with responsiveness and accessibility in mind.
  • Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs for data access and business logic.
  • Write and maintain unit and UI tests, and support test automation in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Debug crashes, performance issues, and OS compatibility problems across devices and versions.
  • Manage app releases through TestFlight, Google Play Console, or enterprise deployment platforms.
  • Prepare release notes, versioning, metadata, and store submission materials.
  • Monitor app performance and crash reports using tools such as Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, or New Relic.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to refine features and integrations.
  • Document code, workflows, and release processes for team knowledge sharing.
  • Implement secure storage and authentication measures, and support compliance with relevant privacy and security standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional mobile development experience.
  • Proficiency in native mobile development with Swift and/or Kotlin, or cross-platform development with React Native or Flutter.
  • Experience releasing apps to both the iOS App Store and Google Play.
  • Familiarity with mobile CI/CD workflows such as Fastlane or Bitrise.
  • Experience using XCTest, Espresso, or Jest for testing is preferred.
  • Experience with push notifications, in-app purchases, or real-time features such as chat or live updates is preferred.
  • Familiarity with mobile analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Firebase Analytics, or Amplitude is preferred.
  • Experience building and scaling consumer-facing apps with more than 10,000 downloads is preferred.
  • Industry experience in SaaS, fintech, healthcare, or e-commerce is preferred.
  • Ability to work U.S. client business hours with flexibility for app release cycles, sprint planning, and bug fixes.
