Description

  • Prepare offer letters, onboarding materials, orientation schedules, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including I-9s, E-Verify, access removal, equipment retrieval, and exit processes.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS records, employee files, PTO, benefits data, and organizational changes.
  • Support payroll preparation and reconciliation by validating hours, deductions, benefits, and payroll changes.
  • Maintain HR policies, SOPs, compliance records, and audit documentation across applicable U.S. employment regulations.
  • Respond to employee questions about payroll, benefits, PTO, policies, and HR processes.
  • Coordinate training, compliance certifications, engagement workflows, and appropriate escalation of employee relations matters.
  • Post jobs, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support recruitment documentation and communication.
  • Prepare HR reports covering headcount, turnover, compliance, and other operational metrics.
  • Identify and implement improvements to HR processes and workflows.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, People Operations, or HR Coordination.
  • Hands-on experience with BambooHR, ADP, Gusto, Zenefits, or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Experience supporting onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Familiarity with U.S. employment and labor compliance, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEOC requirements, and multi-state regulations.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Excel or Google Sheets, and HR reporting tools.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, documentation, attention to detail, confidentiality, and deadline management.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate with employees at all levels.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or related HR certification preferred.
  • Multi-state or international HR/payroll, HRIS optimization, high-growth company, or HR workflow improvement experience preferred.
