Description

  • Review and manage commercial construction contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate bid bonds, performance bonds, and maintenance bonds, including preparing and submitting bonding documentation.
  • Prepare and submit AIA billing packages and maintain the Schedule of Values (SOV).
  • Track retainage, payment milestones, billing schedules, and potential payment issues.
  • Maintain accurate, organized project documentation in Buildertrend and other project systems.
  • Track project schedules, milestones, receipts, and progress across multiple active projects.
  • Support leadership with project reporting and visibility.
  • Coordinate communication with clients, contractors, vendors, municipalities, and other project stakeholders.
  • Support pre-construction and pre-sales administrative activities.
  • Assist project managers with operational coordination and participate in weekly project meetings.

Requirements

  • Experience working with commercial construction contracts.
  • Hands-on experience with AIA billing and payment applications.
  • Experience managing Schedule of Values (SOV).
  • Knowledge of bid bonds, performance bonds, and maintenance bonds.
  • Experience tracking retainage and construction billing documentation.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Experience using Buildertrend or similar construction management software (preferred).
  • Background in commercial construction, landscaping, or project management (preferred).
  • Experience with CRM and project tracking systems (preferred).
  • Basic bookkeeping or accounting experience within construction (preferred).
  • Familiarity with construction financial reporting and payment tracking (preferred).
