Description

Execute accurate and timely month-end close processes.
Prepare P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and supporting schedules.
Maintain clean, audit-ready workpapers and reconciliations.
Process payroll accurately and manage employee setup within payroll platforms.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate books across multiple entities, locations, or business segments.
Calculate and file U.S. state sales tax and maintain compliance records.
Build custom financial reports and dashboards, and support budgeting and forecasting.
Provide variance analysis and financial insights to leadership.
Review accounting workflows, standardize processes, and maintain SOPs and documentation.

Requirements

5+ years of accounting or finance experience.
Strong experience with accrual accounting, GAAP financial reporting, and month-end close.
Experience managing multi-entity, multi-location, or multi-segment accounting environments.
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, or QuickBooks Enterprise.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, and Data Tables.
Experience processing payroll through Gusto or similar platforms.
Experience handling U.S. sales tax filings.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
NetSuite experience is preferred.
Familiarity with Paylocity, ADP, Ramp, or Bill.com is preferred.
Exposure to time-tracking tools such as Clockify is preferred.
Background in outsourced accounting firms or multi-client environments is preferred.
