Description

  • Own the Accounts Payable function, including governance over invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, expenses, and credit cards.
  • Oversee multiple teams in day-to-day operations to ensure invoices are paid on time.
  • Resolve critical vendor, process, and system escalations through root cause analysis and effective follow-up.
  • Partner with Business, Finance, Technology, Operations, and other teams to fix process defects.
  • Support month-end close activities and complete other ad hoc tasks as needed.
  • Ensure AP processes remain compliant and audit-ready for internal and external audits.
  • Coach, guide, and provide feedback to team members to help them achieve performance goals.
  • Assign work, monitor progress, and hold regular touch points and 1:1 coaching sessions.
  • Track deadlines and develop strategies to remove obstacles and keep work on schedule.
  • Drive procure-to-pay process improvements and ad hoc AP optimization projects.
  • Define KPIs and operational metrics, and track delivery against global objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cash flow, margin, and productivity related to vendor payments.
  • Assess financial and operational risks and opportunities.
  • Align projects and initiatives across departments to support organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes, controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with experience driving process optimization initiatives.
