Description

Own full-cycle accounting operations, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, payroll allocations, depreciation, and intercompany transactions.
Maintain and reconcile key balance sheet and operational accounts, including cash, A/R, A/P, deferred revenue, inventory, and credit cards.
Lead monthly and quarterly close cycles and ensure all close activities are completed within reporting timelines.
Prepare financial statements, variance analyses, and reporting packages for leadership, audits, executive reviews, and board reporting.
Support external audits, prepare PBC schedules, and assist with compliance reporting and tax filings.
Maintain internal controls, accounting SOPs, and GAAP/IFRS-compliant accounting records.
Identify process inefficiencies and support workflow improvements, ERP optimization, and automation initiatives.
Review work completed by junior accounting staff and mentor team members on reconciliations and reporting standards.
Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, sales, and leadership to ensure reporting accuracy and financial insight.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
4–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and accrual accounting.
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or SAP.
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and Conditional Formatting.
CPA or ACCA certification is preferred.
Experience with multi-entity accounting, consolidations, or foreign currency accounting is preferred.
Industry experience in SaaS, real estate, or professional services is preferred.
ERP implementation or accounting automation experience is preferred.
Experience improving accounting SOPs and workflows is preferred.
