Description

Review, record, and manage vendor invoices, AP aging, and weekly payments.
Onboard new vendors and maintain vendor statement reconciliations.
Communicate professionally with vendors and support collections on past-due accounts.
Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepaids, payroll, and reclasses.
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and support month-end close.
Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
Reconcile clearing accounts and maintain schedules for accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets.
Improve, document, and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls.
Support annual audits, tax filings, and GAAP/company policy compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in CPG or a high-growth environment on smaller teams.
Strong understanding of AP, AR, inventory management, and financial reporting.
Proven ability to develop and implement financial policies and strategies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including scenario analysis and forecasting.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to handle high AP volume efficiently.
Ability to work permanently from home during U.S. PST business hours.
