Description

Serve as a pathology subject matter expert across the company.
Collaborate with pathology, lab operations, clinical operations, biopharma customer teams, project managers, and machine learning scientists to provide high-quality pathology support.
Partner with biopharma customers on exploratory biomarker, translational, and clinical trial projects.
Lead pathology work by recommending scoring approaches, selecting network or KOL pathologists, and training clinical trial study readers.
Participate in manual and digital scoring of pathology cases across multiple indications.
Conduct internal assay validations.
Represent PathAI with biopharma customers and key opinion leaders in meetings, calls, congresses, and other interactions.
Ensure the quality of annotations, biopharma data, and overall compliance across programs.
Provide pathology guidance on new products and contribute to development, deployment, and review of DP/AI models.
Contribute to publications.

Requirements

US board certification in anatomic pathology is required.
Strong general surgical pathology skills are required.
Experience in immunohistochemistry and biomarker assessment, such as HER2 and PD-L1, is required.
Experience with digital pathology is required.
Background in translational research, immuno-oncology, and biomarker development is preferred.
Fellowship subspecialty training is highly desirable.
Interest in biopharma programs, biomarker assessment, and machine learning is preferred.
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams is required.
High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills are required.
Structured, disciplined, flexible, and solution-oriented approach to problem solving is preferred.

Benefits

Annual pay range of $208,000 to $320,000.
Eligible for equity awards.
Base salary or hourly wage plus on-target commission for eligible roles.
Individual compensation tailored based on skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
