Description

  • Conduct independent and collaborative research in Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, multimodal AI, model evaluation, and AI data.
  • Formulate research questions and design, execute, and analyze AI/ML experiments.
  • Build analytical models, research prototypes, and pipelines using Python and ML frameworks.
  • Develop LLM evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, datasets, and performance criteria.
  • Evaluate models for accuracy, robustness, bias, hallucination, reasoning, relevance, and response quality.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, sampling, and error analysis.
  • Develop datasets, taxonomies, annotation frameworks, data-quality frameworks, and evaluation methodologies.
  • Analyze data and model gaps and recommend improvements to AI system performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to research papers, technical reports, patents, benchmarks, and other research outputs.
  • Collaborate with technical, data, annotation, domain, delivery, and client-facing teams to communicate findings and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computational Science, or a related discipline.
  • 4–7 years of hands-on research experience in AI/ML, Data Science, NLP, Generative AI, LLMs, or related areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate research questions, design experiments, analyze results, and communicate findings independently.
  • Research track record through publications, patents, conference presentations, open-source contributions, or significant AI/ML projects; reputed publications preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an IIT, NIT, or other premier engineering or research institution preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and preferably PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, statistics, experimentation, data analysis, feature engineering, model evaluation, hypothesis testing, and statistical inference.
  • Hands-on exposure to LLMs, NLP, Generative AI, and multimodal AI, including one or more of RAG, LLM evaluation, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, SFT, RLHF/DPO, embeddings, or benchmarking.
  • Experience with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets; familiarity with Git and AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred.

Benefits

  • Expected salary range of $160,000–$185,000 per year, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
