Description

  • Own a defined territory or vertical and manage full-cycle sales from first contact through signed contract.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up.
  • Run consultative discovery to understand prospect use cases for POI and geospatial data.
  • Connect SafeGraph’s products to customer needs across real estate, fintech, adtech, logistics, and retail.
  • Use AI tools to research accounts, personalize outreach, prepare for calls, and accelerate sales execution.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide reliable forecasting to leadership.
  • Share field insights with product teams to inform messaging, positioning, and roadmap priorities.
  • Develop deep expertise in SafeGraph’s core verticals and customer use cases.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of B2B SaaS or data sales experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding quota.
  • Experience selling data products, APIs, or developer/data-team-facing tools.
  • Comfort navigating multi-stakeholder deals with data engineers, data scientists, product managers, and executives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical data products clearly.
  • AI fluency and active use of AI tools in a daily sales workflow.
  • Self-starter mentality with a bias for action.
  • Experience thriving in a remote, async-first environment.
  • Background in location intelligence, geospatial data, or adjacent data categories such as foot traffic, transaction enrichment, or demographic data (preferred).
  • Existing relationships in fintech, retail tech, real estate tech, or adtech (preferred).
  • Experience selling at a company with fewer than 50 employees (preferred).
