Description

  • Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in developing and delivering safety training programs for craft personnel.
  • Promote safe work practices and a culture of safety through direct engagement with employees.
  • Document and report safety observations, incidents, and near misses, and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Work with the safety management team to update safety protocols and processes as needed.
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute insights to improve safety performance.
  • Support the implementation of job safety analyses (JSAs) and ensure they are maintained and followed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a safety-related role within the construction or power delivery industry.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and general construction safety practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with craft personnel.
  • Ability to identify hazards and provide practical solutions to support a safe work environment.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred; must obtain within 60 days of hire if not already certified.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites as needed.
  • Final compensation may vary based on education, relevant experience, licenses, and certifications.
