Description

  • Perform deep architecture and security reviews of complex products to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Lead feature design, threat modeling, and security-critical code and architecture reviews with engineering teams.
  • Act as a security subject matter expert for product architects and engineers.
  • Assess risk and help implement security controls and mitigations for identified issues.
  • Drive product design decisions toward secure-by-default outcomes.
  • Own and lead strategic security initiatives that improve security across the company.
  • Develop and implement automation to eliminate classes of weaknesses across the organization.
  • Find, investigate, and resolve vulnerabilities using static and dynamic analysis, security scanning, and security report triage.
  • Work with offensive security, InfoSec, engineering, and incident response teams on product security issues and incidents.

Requirements

  • Development or software engineering experience with a deep passion for information security.
  • Experience with a modern high-level programming language such as Java, Golang, Javascript, or Python.
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating code for vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
  • Experience with complex architectures and codebases such as SOA or microservices.
  • Experience using CodeQL or other static code analysis platforms.
  • Experience performing black-box testing of web applications.
  • Self-motivated and experienced in solving complex problems.
  • History of designing and shipping production-ready software.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working closely with engineering teams.
  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly in complex deployments.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $135,000 to $200,000 per year.
  • Total compensation may include Restricted Stock Units and a sign-on bonus.
