Description

  • Own the end-to-end go-to-market system for events across all Packt verticals.
  • Define and enforce GTM floor standards, including positioning, sequencing, and channel mix.
  • Work with vertical Growth Leads to shape demand before events go live.
  • Identify which growth approaches should scale and which should be stopped based on performance signals.
  • Build and run a central content engine that turns event themes into ongoing content series.
  • Operate central distribution channels such as LinkedIn, X, Discord, and Circle as audience-building surfaces.
  • Design AI-enabled content workflows to transform long-form content into high-volume short-form output.
  • Build and operate a cross-event community system with discovery and gated continuation layers.
  • Drive engagement before, during, and after events while making community a source of qualified demand.
  • Build attribution, dashboards, and reporting that measure qualified traffic, compare performance across events, and inform GTM decisions.
  • Partner directly with Product and vertical teams to translate product strategy into measurable GTM plans and hold teams to standards.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have built growth or marketing systems from 0→1 or scaled them from 1→N in a startup environment.
  • Experience limited to execution inside mature, structured organizations will not meet the role requirements.
  • Proven ability to build and scale technical or practitioner-led communities.
  • Strong understanding of activation, retention, signal capture, and community-to-commercial conversion.
  • Ability to design and implement scalable content systems from the ground up.
  • Experience operationalizing content transformation workflows, such as turning long-form content into short-form at scale.
  • Strong foundation in attribution frameworks, including UTM discipline, dashboards, and source tracking from scratch.
  • Comfort working with imperfect data and using directional measurement to guide decisions.
  • Experience running structured paid acquisition experiments with attribution and ROI analysis.
  • Preferred experience working with creators on partnerships, revenue-sharing models, and co-marketing initiatives.
  • Preferred background in developer relations and direct engagement with technical audiences.
  • Preferred background in B2B marketing or events, especially paid expert-led experiences.
  • Preferred familiarity with outbound GTM tools and workflows such as Clay or Apollo.
