Description

  • Identify the need for new trademark, design, and patent filings across global intellectual property offices.
  • Perform freedom-to-operate reviews for proposed new IP applications.
  • Coordinate intellectual property filings worldwide.
  • Guide outside counsel in preparing responses to office actions for trademark, patent, design, and copyright applications.
  • Participate in quarterly meetings with technical teams to collect new patent ideas and protect the company’s idea pipeline.
  • Advise internal colleagues on intellectual property-related matters.
  • Prepare and deliver trainings on intellectual property topics.
  • Monitor legislative changes in intellectual property law and keep the organization informed.
  • Track IP-related expenses and coordinate work with outside counsel.

Requirements

  • Qualified patent attorney or a university degree in Law.
  • Specialization in Intellectual Property law is an advantage.
  • Education, certification, or experience in computer science, engineering, or other technical fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience with intellectual property in the private or public sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of intellectual property law.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Strong interest in IT environments and technology.
  • Previous experience handling patent and trademark applications is preferred.
